What is the best free syslog software to use for logging information from network devices?

I'm not sure if it's the best free syslog software, but I know it's the mostly widely used. Kiwi Syslog. There is a free version which has a few limitations but is usually more than enough for what most people require.
I've also noticed that with the different versions of Free Kiwi the limitations are different, so often the function that you want which are locked in one version are available in an earlier free version of the software.
